This Privacy Policy explains what data Empleo collects, how we use it, and the choices you have about your information.

1. Data we collect

We collect information to operate Empleo safely and effectively. The data we process falls into the following categories:

  • Account data, such as names, email addresses, job titles, and authentication details for workspace members.
  • Candidate data that you upload or generate, including resumes, interview feedback, ratings, and communication history.
  • Usage data and technical logs, such as IP addresses, device information, and actions taken in the product to keep Empleo secure.
  • Integration data from services you connect (for example, calendar or HRIS providers) to sync scheduling and candidate status updates.

2. How we use data

We use the data above to deliver the service, improve product performance, and provide support. Specifically, we:

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with trusted subprocessors who help us deliver Empleo, and we require them to follow strong privacy and security commitments.

  • Provide core product features like candidate scoring, collaboration tools, and analytics.
  • Send service-related communications, such as onboarding guidance, security alerts, or billing notices.
  • Monitor usage patterns to protect against fraud and to improve reliability.

3. Legal bases

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process personal data based on the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in providing and securing the service, and compliance with legal obligations. Where consent is required, such as for marketing emails, we will ask for it separately.

4. Data retention and deletion

We retain customer data for as long as you have an active subscription and for up to 90 days afterward to help you export or restore information. We may retain limited audit logs for a longer period if required for security or legal reasons.

You can request deletion of candidate or workspace data at any time by emailing support@empleo.cloud. We will confirm the request and delete the data unless we need to keep it to comply with law or resolve disputes.

5. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing activities. We will honor these rights and respond within 30 days.

To exercise your rights, contact us at support@empleo.cloud. We may need to verify your identity or authority before we act on the request.

  • Access and obtain a copy of your data.
  • Request corrections to inaccurate information.
  • Ask us to delete certain data or limit how we use it.
  • Request a portable export of candidate data you manage in Empleo.
  • Opt out of marketing communications.

6. Security

We protect data using encryption in transit, role-based access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews. If we learn of a security breach that affects you, we will notify workspace owners and follow any legal disclosure requirements.
